acting class

Patron: Dame Harriet Walter

In this two hour weekly class, students will have the opportunity to focus purely on acting rather than dancing and singing.

Classes are taught by highly skilled professionals and will include characterisation work, classical & contemporary scene study, improvisation, devising, monologues, mask work, vocal technique and acting for camera.

Students will take part in the annual “SHOWCASE” production at a local professional venue and will perform a small showing for family and friends at the end of both the Spring and summer terms.

Qualification (UCAS):

Students will also focus on their LAMDA exam.  Individuals will be assessed in order to match their ability with the correct level and grade. Those passing Grade 6 and above will gain between 20-90 UCAS points recognised and accredited by the QCF.  These points are comparable to GCE AS and A level qualifications.
